Basoeki Abdullah is one of the maestro of Indonesian painters. He was in Surakarta, on January 25, 1915 and died 5 November 1993 at the age of 78 years. He is known as a realist and naturalist painters. He has been appointed as the official painter Merdeka Palace in Jakarta and works adorn the Indonesian presidential palace and the state, his works are also collection by collectors from around the world.
